The municipality of San Pedro Garza García, through the Municipal Youth Institute, will offer free counseling to local students to prepare for the admission exams to high schools and university programs at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. The Institute's program aims to provide students with the necessary tools to confidently tackle the exams that will take place in mid-year, according to Gerardo Benítez, a representative of the institute.
In collaboration with U Links Institute and Tec de Monterrey, the municipality aims to combat academic dropout among the youth of San Pedro Garza García, ensuring that the teachers involved in the counseling are fully prepared to guide students in their preparation process.
Those interested in receiving this free counseling can register directly at the offices of the Municipal Youth Institute, located on Grafito Street, in the San Pedro 400 neighborhood, near the West Mayor's Office. The in-person sessions will be led by qualified teachers who will employ a theoretical-practical approach to help students familiarize themselves with the exam format. Additionally, mock exams will be conducted to improve students' chances of achieving a passing score in their admission process to upper secondary and higher education.
"These 100% free counseling sessions with 100% qualified teachers will help the kids to be well prepared when they take their admission exam for high school or university (faculty)," emphasized Benítez, highlighting the value and quality of the support offered to young people for their academic success.
